So, we built Parascape.

We are a management consulting firm and our purpose is to help build a better workplace, for ourselves and for others, so that people can use their craft to tackle the issues of our world.

Sierra Woods, MPPA

I used to dream of becoming the next Christine Sinclair. While I didn’t become a professional soccer player, the mindset I developed, resilience, adaptability, and a love for challenge, threw me into the world of entrepreneurship and innovation.

Sports taught me grit, not just pushing through, but learning how to adapt when things don’t go as planned. I’ve come to see grit as building a rhythm that helps you stay in the game over the long haul. That same lesson shapes how I help organizations make decisions that keep them sustainable and lasting for decades, so they can continue doing the kind of work that changes the world for the better.

I have a Master’s in Public Policy from Carleton University, a Knowledge Translation Professional Certificate from the University of Toronto, and a Human Systems Dynamics Professional Certification.

I've advised government and business executives, led marketing for an international conference, spoke on multiple podcasts and conference stages, and am currently authoring a field guide on knowledge management.

Today, as Co-Founder and Partner at Parascape Consulting Ltd., I help small and medium businesses think differently, get unstuck, and creatively navigate uncertainty.

Shawn Woods, CPP, PSP

One of my favorite memories was rebuilding a security program with a small team at a small governmental organization. My approach? Talk with everyone. Seriously. Take the time for green tea and really talk with people. This allowed us to understand how we could best align the security program with the business' needs. The result: people said we were "refreshing".

I hold the CPP and PSP from ASIS International. And, I've completed an Honours Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management. I am now pursuing a Masters of Science in Security and Risk Management.

I'm a former Naval Warfare Officer with the Royal Canadian Navy. I later went on to manage security in the agriculture sector and then later to design the security of Canadian Embassies around the globe.

Today, as Co‑Founder and Partner at Parascape Consulting Ltd., I write and advise small and medium enterprises on building resilient, people‑focused organizations ready to tackle the world’s toughest challenges.
